Canon's EF 800mm f / 5.6L IS USM lens is currently Canon's longest telephoto lens, and an excellent choice for any long distance application, such as outdoor sports, wildlife and photojournalism. Although it has a long focal length of 800mm, the magnesium alloy used in the construction of this lens makes it lighter than the 600mm f / 4L lens, which weighs less than 10 lbs.

The magnesium alloy construction maintains its weight comparable to that of shorter telephoto lenses.

Image stabilization in two modes; Correction of camera shake from dual-axis or single-axis vertical (for scanning)

The AF Stop function turns off the autofocus when an obstruction appears

The focus preset function allows you to return to a specifically configured focus by rotating a ring in front of the focus ring.

The focus range limiter function allows you to set the focus distance range for shorter focus times. The three ranges are 19.7 '- infinity (full range), 19.7 - 65.6', and 65.6 '- infinity.

Override full-time manual focus

An airtight seal structure ensures excellent dust and moisture resistant performance.
