A unique short telephoto lens, ideal for portraits, the Samyang AF 75mm f / 1.8 FE is a Sony E-mount prime characterized by its distinctive focal length, compact design, and brilliant f / 1.8 maximum aperture. The optical design incorporates three extra low dispersion elements and a pair of high refractive index elements, which help suppress spherical and chromatic aberrations to improve sharpness, color accuracy and clarity. An ultra-multiple coating has also been applied to reduce flare and ghost images for higher contrast when working in bright lighting conditions. The lens' STM linear autofocus motor works in conjunction with Sony camera AF systems for fast, quiet, and precise focusing performance, and manual focus override is also available for more refined control. Vertical Length is designed for full-frame Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras, however it can also be used with APS-C models where it provides an equivalent focal length of 112.5mm.
