Samyang's NCS CS 12mm f/2.0 lens for Fujifilm X-Mount is a wide-angle main lens designed specifically for use with APS-C format image sensors. With an equivalent focal length of 35mm 18mm and a wide viewing angle of 98.9°, this lens is ideal for architectural, interior and landscape images. Its fast maximum aperture of f/2.0 is beneficial for working in low light conditions.

An aspherical element, a hybrid aspherical element and three low dispersion glass elements were incorporated into the optical design to minimise chromatic aberrations and distortion for sharper, high-contrast images throughout the frame, and a nano coating system (NCS) has been applied to the lens elements to reduce surface reflections and prevent reflection and ghost image of the lens, a six-blade aperture closes to create an almost full circle, and the minimum focusing distance of the lenses is 7.9"".

The main wide-angle lens offers a focal length equivalent to 35 mm of 18 mm for integral wide-angle applications including architectural and landscape photography.

Fast f / 2.0 maximum opening benefits working in low light conditions.

Three extra low dispersion elements, a hybrid aspherical element and an aspherical element reduce aberrations and chromatic distortions to produce sharper images from the center to the corner of the image frame.
