Fujinon MKX 18-55mm T2.9 Mount X Cinema

The Fujinon MKX 18-55mm T2.9 X Film Mount is a lightweight, cinema-style zoom lens for X-mount cameras and a Super 35mm sensor. The electrical contacts inside the mounted lens allow communication with the X-series cameras. It has a mechanical design with three independent control rings: focus, iris and zoom. Each ring has a film wheel with a 0.8 MOD to connect to accessories of standard cinema-type lenses. The focus ring has a rotation of approximately 200 °, which provides space for precise focus, and the iris free of cliks, allowing a fluid iris drawing. The lens also has a macro mode for precise focusing capabilities.

The objective is a color matched to the other Fujinon lenses, such as those of the HK, ZK and XK series, allowing a fluid interlayer between lenses. The 85 mm front allows you to use many matte type cinema boxes, using optional vertical rings (the rings are not included). The lens weighs only 0.98 kilos, so it is lightweight for a zoom lens with focus and aperture over the entire focus length range. It was designed for cameras with a Fuji X mount, therefore it has a short flange focus length, but the lens allows you to make adjustments to the focus distance of the flange so you can tune it to the camera you are using it with .
