The B + W 86mm XS-Pro Clear MRC-Nano 007 Filter is a simple and clear filter designed for the general protection of your lens. This optically clear filter does not affect overall image quality helping to protect your lens from dust, scratches, moisture and other dangerous elements.
Its Multi-Resistant Coating (MRC) is an anti-reflective coating and a protective surface. Helps with light transmission by reducing reflections, stray light, and blurred images. In addition, it offers greater protection to the filter substrate and stays clean longer than uncoated filters. The Nano coating associated with the XS-Pro filters incorporates an eighth layer in addition to the MRC coating, achieving a better water molding effect for greater efficiency when washing.
The B + W filters are constructed of high-quality Schott glass for optical clarity and color fidelity. This filter has an X-Pro Digital mount specifically designed for DSLR use with wide angle and telephoto lenses. The filter ring is made of metal for durability to prevent interference.
