It is placed under the automatic Flash shoe compatible with Nikon and ensuring that they are on the same channel you can shoot and control remotely from the transmitter.
The rear LCD of the transmitter displays the CH (channel) used as well as GR (group) that you are using. Selectable with the respective buttons.
There is a Test button at the top for flash tests, as well as a status LED indicator light on the receiver.
It has a metal base with 1/4 Screw inlet and locking with screw lock.
