Levenhuk Skyline BASE 70T Telescope
Levenhuk Skyline BASE 70T is an ideal first telescope that will not disappoint a beginning astronomer. The kit includes optical accessories that help show the capabilities of this refractor to its fullest extent. You do not need to buy additional things, since everything you need is already included. The Levenhuk Skyline BASE 70T telescope is wonderful for observing the Moon with its craters, Venus, faint and double stars, globular and open clusters. Under ideal conditions, you can observe Mars, Saturn, and Jupiter. The distant planets of the Solar System are visible as tiny dots. This telescope is suitable for ground-based observations.
Levenhuk Skyline BASE 70T is a reflective telescope with fully coated glass optics. Optical surfaces are free from fogging and require little maintenance, while optics deliver a sharp, detailed image. An optical finder with 6x magnification and an alternate azimuth mount is used to aim at objects. Tracking stars, planets and nebulae in the sky will not be a problem even for an inexperienced astronomer.
A basic set of optical accessories makes the purchase of additional eyepieces unnecessary. The kit includes two eyepieces with a different focal length, a 2x Barlow lens and a diagonal mirror. The accessories allow to reach the maximum practical power of the telescope and to observe the astronomical objects in detail. A diagonal mirror is used for ground-based observations. Telescopes create an upside-down image that is not suitable for ground-based observations. A diagonal mirror makes up for it.
An alternate azimuth mount is stable and strong. An accessory tray is attached. The tripod legs have an adjustable height which is useful if you need to install a telescope on an uneven surface or adjust it to the height of the observer.
