Nikon NIKKOR Z DX 50-250mm f / 4.5-6.3 VR lens
Sleek yet far-reaching, the Nikon NIKKOR Z DX 50-250mm f / 4.5-6.3 VR is a 75-375mm equivalent zoom designed for DX-format Z-mount mirrorless cameras. With a versatile range of telephoto focal lengths, this zoom is ideal for working with distant subjects and portrait applications. Its optical design incorporates an extra-low dispersion element, which greatly helps to reduce color fringing and chromatic aberrations for greater clarity and color reproduction. A super integrated coating has also been applied to minimize ghosting and flare for increased contrast and color accuracy in light and backlight conditions.
Its range is also benefited by Vibration Reduction Image Stabilization, which minimizes the appearance of camera shake by up to 5 stops for sharper handheld shooting. A stepping motor provides fast, quiet, and accurate autofocus performance along with full-time manual focus override to suit both still images and video applications. Additionally, a programmable control ring can be configured for intuitive adjustment to a variety of camera and exposure settings.
Telephoto zoom is designed for Nikon DX-format Z-mount mirrorless cameras and provides a 75-375mm equivalent focal length range.
An extra-low dispersion element reduces color fringing and chromatic aberrations to improve clarity and color accuracy.
Super Integrated Coating suppresses flare and ghosting to improve contrast and color fidelity when working in bright lighting conditions.
The stepping motor offers impressively smooth, quiet and fast autofocus performance that is well suited to both still image and video applications. Full-time manual focus override is also possible and an internal focus design is used, where only the internal lens groups move during focus, to maintain full lens length during use and promote faster focus speeds .
Image stabilization with Vibration Reduction minimizes the appearance of camera shake by up to 5 stops for sharper handheld shooting.
The programmable control ring is set, by default, to adjust manual focus, but can also be used to control aperture or exposure compensation.
The specialized electromagnetic aperture mechanism provides greater exposure control stability that is especially beneficial when working with fast continuous shooting speeds.
The rounded seven-blade diaphragm promotes pleasant blur quality that benefits the use of shallow depth of field techniques.
