Phottix Indra500 TTL studio flash with battery
Intended for photographers on the road, the Phottix Indra500 TTL battery-powered studio lamp offers a design driven by portability, flexibility and power. With no power cable and no cables, the Indra500 is also simple thanks to the integrated Odin receivers for Nikon and Canon cameras in each unit. Pixtix starts with a flash with all the qualities of a studio flash, such as 500 W of power, adjustable from 1/128 to maximum power in a range of 8 stops. the recycling time is 0.1 to 2 seconds with the polycell battery with a maximum power of 8 stops. the recycling time is 0.1 to 2 seconds with the polycell battery.
TTL
Most studio lights only operate in manual camera modes, limiting their use in fast-moving environments. The Indra500 TTL opens up new creative possibilities, allowing photographers to shoot with shutter and aperture priority modes while taking advantage of their camera's auto-exposure technology
High synchronization speeds
Traditional studio lights have sync speeds limited to 1 / 200-1 / 250 sec., so flashing levels of roll and ambient light are problematic. Phottix Indra's high speed sync function allows speeds of up to 1 / 8,000 sec. for a much wider exposure latitude
Second Curtain Sync
The Second Curtain Sync function fires the flash at the end of the exposure rather than at the beginning, allowing the use of slow shutter speeds to create a natural-looking blurred effect trail behind subjects in progressive motion.
Flash bracketing
Instead of altering the look of your shot by changing the aperture or shutter speed, let Indra automatically vary its power to get lighter, darker shots around your main exposure
Strobe mode
This mode allows you to capture sequential action by varying the hertz rate from 1-100 Hz and flicker frequency from 1-100 times per exposure
Built-in trigger
Adjust the TTL +/- 3 EV exposure compensation or adjust the power 1/3 or full stops in a range of 8 stops in manual mode from up to 328' away with the optional Odin transmitter. Indra has built-in Odin receivers for Nikon and Canon cameras. Phottix Strato II users can also activate the Indra 500, but only in manual mode.
Upgradeable
The Indra500 TTL offers a USB port for future firmware upgrades. As the camera technology changes, Indra can change along with it
Mounting the Bowens reflector
The Indra500 comes with an umbrella reflector with a Bowens mount. It is also compatible with the other brand accessories that use this mount
