Vanguard Optics' 8x42 Veo HD2 binoculars feature extra low dispersion (ED) glass and BAK4 prisms that work together to virtually eliminate chromatic aberration, producing images with true color fidelity across the entire field of view and enhanced contrast. Complementing the glass and prisms are fully multi-coated anti-reflective optics that enhance light transmission for bright, clear images, with increased performance in low light conditions.
An open bridge design and carbon composite shell help balance binoculars and reduce weight without sacrificing strength. The open bridge also provides a large surface to hold for greater stability. Mitsubishi rubber armor and thumb grooves on the bottom of the chassis help provide drop and impact protection and provide a non-slip grip. Engineered to last, the housing is nitrogen-filled and a sealed O-ring for waterproof and anti-fog performance, and the three-stage rotating eyepieces provide custom-fit eye relief for use with or without glasses.
