Sigma sought to create a main portrait peak with the Art Lens 85mm f / 1.4 DG HSM , and delivered a high performance optic, a large aperture f / 1.4 and a variety of technologies. Available here with a Sony E mount, this lens offers a super fast aperture f / 1.4 which is ideal for obtaining images with an exceptionally low depth of field and a soft bokeh. It also uses two SLD elements, an anomalous partial dispersion/high refractive index element and an aspherical element that minimizes aberrations.

For operation, a Sonic Hyper AF motor provides fast and precise focusing, and a large focusing ring allows manual focus cancellation for fine adjustments.
