With close focus, apochromatic and compact, the Laowa 65mm f / 2.8 2x Ultra Macro APO from Venus Optics is a stylish prime telephoto designed for Sony E-mount APS-C format mirrorless cameras. Its macro design allows a maximum magnification of 2: 1 larger than the real size along with a minimum focusing distance of 6.7 "to suit working with close subjects. In terms of optics, it uses three extra-low dispersion elements to reduce heavily color fringes and chromatic aberrations to achieve a high degree of clarity and color accuracy. In addition, it is a manual focus lens, with an internal focus design, and has a nine blade diaphragm to contribute to a quality of soft bokeh to accommodate shallow depth of field applications.
Telephoto prime is designed for Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras with APS-C format and provides a 97.5mm equivalent focal length.
With an apochromatic designation, this lens uses three low dispersion elements to effectively eliminate chromatic aberrations and color fringes for greater clarity and accurate reproduction.
