Rode Stereo VideoMic Pro Rycote

Rode Stereo VideoMic Pro Rycote builds on the success of Stereo VideoMic Pro with some improved improvements, such as a Rycote Lyre shock absorber, more sensitive X / Y capsules, denser foam windshields, better RF shielding and a cable thicker Kevlar braid. The microphone retains all switch locations and other features like the previous model, for use as a DSLR in the camera and a camcorder microphone for video applications.

The integrated Rycote Lyre damping system protects against driving noise. Stereo VideoMic features a 75 Hz high pass filter switch to minimize low frequency noise, and a -10 dB pad to maximize the margin to capture strong signals without distortion. The +20 dB level increase switch is specifically designed to provide a higher quality signal with DSLR cameras. When activated, the camera's preamp level is reduced, resulting in a lower noise level and a much clearer recording.
