Rounds NTG2 or condenser shotgun microphone with phantom power

The Rode NTG2 is a condenser shotgun microphone designed to capture professional audio in the field or indoors. With a history of manufacturing quality studio microphones, Rode has implemented electronic products with low noise output and wide frequency bandwidth, which are attributed to the transmission sound quality of the NTG2.

The supercardioid polar pattern and the more gradient line acoustic design effectively minimize the audio and noise on the axis (sides) of the microphone, while the front part of the capsule accurately reproduces the incoming audio signal. The result is greater intelligibility and a signal-to-noise ratio when using NTG2 in noisy environments.

The NTG2 is powered by an internal 1.5V AA battery or an external + 48V phantom power supply. The output is a standard 3-pin XLR male connector.

The microphone features a rugged, all-metal and lightweight housing, ideal for mounting the camera, but strong enough to withstand the rigors of heavy road use. The Rode NTG2 comes with a microphone and windshield mount.
