Canon Extender RF 1.4x

The Canon 1.4x RF Extender is best for photographers who want more zoom range with their RF lenses. Since the focal range is increased by a factor of 1.4, it is ideal for sports, nature and reportage photographers. The extender is equipped with high refraction and low dispersion glass to control field curvature and chromatic aberrations, for the highest image quality.
In addition to optimized lens coatings, a combined three-layer lens helps reduce reflections by minimizing surfaces that come into contact with air. The exterior is covered in the same white anti-heat coating used on the RF 100-500mm F4.5-7.1L IS USM and RF 70-200mm lenses, to prevent deterioration when working in high temperatures. A mechanism that limits the RF zoom 100-500mm F4.5-7.1L IS USM zoom range (300 to 500mm) prevents the lens elements from hitting the extender elements.
The extender is designed to offer reliability and durability with resistance to shocks, dust and water, to be used by professionals and more experienced amateurs.
