Sekonic 478DR LiteMaster Pro Radio PocketWizard
Equipped with a large and intuitive 2.7 "color LCD touch screen, and now with built-in radio flash power control and activation for PocketWizard ControlTL and standard wireless systems, the LiteMaster Pro L-478DR-U Light Meter from Sekonic will perform ambient incident measurements and super simple flash light. The capacity of this system allows complete control of flash power in 0.1 step increments. Along with this, the radio system has a separate selection between 3 zones for ControlTL or 4 zones for standard triggering with measured values held for ratio determination
The L-478 series of light meters stands out for its large color touch screen, which allows quick control of settings for both ambient and flash metering. The meter is also quite capable, it can operate within a range from -2 to 22.9 EV to ISO 100. Also, for the current crop of hybrid triggers, this model expands its standard still image functions with two different video modes: Cinema and HD Cinema. These settings give access to the 1-1,000 fps frame rate selection as well as the 1-358 ° shutter angle settings as well as ISO 850 for Canon cinema cameras.
Ensuring the best possible performance is a set of functions and features that will ensure that users have the best tools available. Among them is a flash analysis feature that uses ambience and flash simultaneously to allow shooters to dial their preferred mix. Also, by using the included data transfer software, users will be able to make exposure profiles for their camera using the optional 5 ° viewfinder, displaying dynamic range limits and knowing that you will have accurate exposure. Alongside this, there is a filter compensation mode that allows the meter to take the filter factor into account, which can now be done with up to 12 EV for landscape triggers using high-density ND filters. Other features include a contrast function to compare brightness, a memory mode for 9 readings, and illuminance or luminance measurement.
Lumisphere receiver head rotates 90 ° clockwise and 180 ° counterclockwise and retracts to make it a flat diffuser
Optional 5 ° viewfinder for spot metering
Ambient light metering modes include aperture priority, shutter speed priority, TF priority, CINEMA, HD Cinema, illuminance, and luminance
Flash can be measured with PC sync terminal connection, without cable or radio trigger
Measurement range at ISO 100 from -2 to 22.9 EV with incident light or from 3 to 19.9 EV with reflected light
ISO range of 3 to 409,600 in steps of 1/3, including 850 for Canon cinema cameras
Other Functions: Exposure Profile, Halftone Function, Exposure Compensation, Filter Compensation, Multiple Cumulative Function, Memory / Erase / Recall Function, Average Function, Contrast Function, Auto Power Off, Touch Panel Lock
