Canon's Prime EF 60mm mount lens is compatible with full frame sensors and APS-C sensors, where it will provide an equivalent 96mm focal length.

The lens is capable of focusing subjects at a distance of up to 2.4" with a magnification ratio of 2:1 for a large macro shot without the need for extension tubes or adapters. In addition, the lens is also capable of achieving infinity focus with a magnification ratio of 1:10 for general shooting applications. When working with full-frame sensors, the image may be vignetted slightly when working in infinity focus.

The manual focus and manual aperture design do not maintain any electronic communication with the camera.
