Designed to provide great control over blurred quality and to enhance the bokeh effect, Venus Optics' Laowa 105mm f / 2 Smooth Trans Focus lens is a premium short telephoto lens designed for full frame EF mount cameras. the unique optical design incorporates an apodization element (APD) as well as two separate diaphragms, 8 and 14 blades, to provide a separate fit over the bokeh, as well as exposure and depth of field. this APD element functions as a radial neutral density filter and functions as a radial neutral density filter. this APD element functions as a radial filter.
