Peak Design Carbon Fiber Travel Tripod

The Peak Design Travel Tripod is designed with space saving in mind. Its folded length of 39.37 cm. All 5 leg sections can be opened by releasing all of its aluminum clasps at the same time, allowing the tripod to be set up or folded up quickly. Extending the legs together with the central column achieves a maximum height of 152.4 cm, a height of 130.18 cm with the central column retracted, and a minimum height of 14 cm with the legs fully extended. The column is reversible to obtain low-angle planes.
The ball head is also part of the tripod's innovative compact design because it does not have protruding knobs or levers; The head has a unique trim ring that allows omni-directional movement and locks in place with the locking ring located above the trim ring. Its quick release system is compatible with most Arca-type plates on the market and standard Peak Design plates. Arca-type L-brackets are also tightened by removing the shear pin inside the bracket. The tripod can support DSLRs with a telephoto lens or other large equipment weighing up to 9 kg. A smartphone can be adapted by removing the weight hook from the center column and unfolding the mobile holder.
