Tamrac's 5722 Zuma 9 Secure Traveler Backpack, black/dark gray, is a uniquely designed package, providing total security when using it. With its unique access back door opening that always rests against your back, there is no chance that anyone can ever come in for a drink. The Zuma 9 is divided in half with the lower compartment rated to hold your DSLR with a 6 "lens connected plus an additional lens and a flash. The upper area is reserved for personal items such as a guide or lunch. You can even pack your iPad that will be kept in your own separate padded compartment for your safety.
The ' wow ' factor in this package is your access to the back door. To retrieve the contents, tighten the belt, slide a shoulder strap, and turn the package to the front and remove the other shoulder strap. Open the door, take out your camera and shoot. Keep in mind that you will never have to leave the package to access your computer.
The exterior of the package is made of a rugged 600 Denier PolyTek with ballistic nylon accent, while the interior is fully padded for maximum protection of your equipment. The inside of the back panel contains a pair of window mesh pockets that house accessories such as media cards, batteries, adapters, and other quick-grip small items. The exterior has two mesh pockets that are designed to hold the Tamrac ZipShot tripod or water bottles. Talking about the outside, Tamrac includes a removable rain cover that can be deployed quickly when the weather becomes sour. The Zuma 9 will also accept any of Tamrac's optional Tamrac (Modular accessory system) pouches. This will increase the bag's capacity and only add a minimum weight.
Carrying the Zuma 9 is very easy with its padded shoulder straps foam, the chest strap for greater stability in the road and the belt, all adjustable for maximum travel comfort. The Zuma 9 is backed by Tamrac's five-year warranty.
