This incredible tripod marks the birth of a new generation of portable tripods. The Velbon Ultrek 45L is extraordinarily small when folded. However, thanks to its ingenious 6 section inverted folding leg design, it can be extended to become a normal height tripod or as a low-level macro platform.
New design innovations include a 2-section column and 6-section legs with inverse folding up to 180 degrees. This allows the maximum extended height to be 5.3 times the size when folded. The Velbon Ultrek 45L tripod is ideal for travel, as its compact size fits into most backpacks and suitcases.
