El disparador remoto X de Hasselblad ayuda a eliminar las vibraciones de la cámara al realizar el disparo. El cable de 90cm conecta a la entrada del micrófono de la X1D y está revestido por una tela flexible asegurando su durabilidad. El botón único permite a los fotógrafos aislar todo movimiento. Si se tiene activado el autoenfoque en la cámara con una sola pulsación del botón enfocará y realiza la toma, mientras que una pulsación continua del botón permitirá una toma múltiple. En modo Manual Focus al pulsar el botón se realiza un disparo sin demora alguna.
