Excellent optics
Levenhuk Rainbow 2L PLUS Biological Microscopes are made from only the highest quality materials. The lenses are made of a special high-transparency optical glass. For better light transmission, the optical surfaces are coated with multiple layers of anti-reflective coating, increasing the sharpness and contrast of the images produced.
The kit includes three objective lenses that produce 64x, 160x and 640x magnifications. The most powerful objective lens (40xs) has a special spring mechanism for optics safety.
Combination lighting
One more advantage of the model: the microscope is equipped with two LED illuminations. The lowest illumination is used to view transparent samples, such as liquids or thin sections of plant and animal tissue. Overhead lighting allows you to see opaque objects: paper, minerals, cloth and metal. If you turn on both illuminations at the same time, you can observe semi-transparent objects. You can also adjust the brightness for a better view.
Durable and convenient body
The reliable body is made of metal; It can easily withstand frequent use and serve you for years. For added comfort, the monocular head is tilted at a 45 degree angle. Also, it can be rotated 360 degrees, and that is very convenient for group work; you can simply turn your head without moving the microscope.
This instrument can be used indoors and outdoors; the microscope can be powered by a power outlet or batteries.
Caution: Check the specification table for the correct mains voltage and never attempt to connect a 110V device to a 220V outlet and vice versa without using a converter. Remember that the mains voltage in the USA and Canada is 110 V and 220 to 240 V in most European countries.
