Excellent optics
Although the Levenhuk LabZZ M101 LimeLima microscope is designed for children, its optical elements are comparable to many "adult" microscopes available on the market. The rotating revolver has three objectives, allowing you to quickly change the magnifications of the instrument without stopping your observations. In addition, the microscope is equipped with a sliding eyepiece with 10x and 16x magnifications. This is more practical than having two different eyepieces; children will not need to change eyepieces, so they cannot get lost. It is very easy to use. The microscope has six different magnifications: 40x, 64x, 100x, 160x, 400x and 640x.
Observing microscope samples
The microscope is designed to view objects using transmitted light; You can either use ready-made kit samples or prepare your own samples. The prepared sample is placed on the stage and held with two forceps so that it does not move even if the microscope is accidentally hit by a sharp blow. The light (emitted by the lower light source) passes through the sample under study, forming the magnified image in the eyepiece. The microscope also allows you to adjust the brightness, as each sample requires different intensities of illumination.
