POCKET WIZARD FLEX TT5 TRANSCEIVER FOR NIKON

The FlexTT5 is an auto-sensing transceiver. This means you can use it on your camera as a transmitter or connected to your flash as a receiver, or both! It can provide TTL communication between your compatible Nikon camera and flashes, as well as trigger other flashes manually. It uses radio signals instead of infrared, so you can now place TTL or manual flashes anywhere to illuminate the scene: around corners, out of sight, and in bright sunlight.

With FlexTT5s, you can synchronize your Nikon speedlights up to 1/8000 using High Speed Sync (HSS), as well as adjust the power to the remotes from your camera position in manual or TTL mode, using a master controller like the AC3 ZoneController or a master flash. The FlexTT5 can synchronize at faster speeds with studio strobes using our patented HyperSync technology and are also compatible with any PocketWizard radio to trigger remote manual flashes or remote cameras.

Use a Raven on your camera, with FlexTT5s connected to your remote flashes, to take your photography to the next level! The Raven can work with the Nikon FlexTT5 remote control for TTL or manual flashes, in addition to many advanced features like HyperSync.

ZoneControl
Add the AC3 ZoneController on top of your FlexTT5 and get three zones of power control directly from the camera's position. It works in both auto/CLS/i-TTL and manual modes. Turn off an entire zone with just a flip of a switch.
AC3 ZoneController is sold separately.

SpeedCycler with an AC3 zone controller
Previously only seen with PocketWizard's MultiMAX radios, this new mode is designed to quickly cycle through multiple flash units fired individually in sequence. This allows photographers to fire a camera synchronized with flashes faster than a single flash unit can recycle. It can also be used to trigger remote cameras sequentially. SpeedCycler is activated on a MiniTT1 or FlexTT5 transmitter via PocketWizard Utility.
The SpeedCycler mode requires an AC3 zone controller on the top shoe of the PocketWizard radio with a camera. Zones A, B, and C will activate sequentially, and individual zones can be deactivated by setting the AC3 zone switch to the off position. Manual and TTL flash controls are supported.

Flash power control without a camera
Photographers can now take their AC3 and the radio transmitter off the camera and use it to set power levels for any flash with a ControlTL receiver, making it more convenient to use an optically-triggered light meter, or control power levels with just a MiniTT1 / FlexTT5 and AC3 in hand while another photographer takes the photos. Previously, an AC3 zone controller on a MiniTT1 or FlexTT5 needed to be on the camera to send manual power levels to remote flashes. Now, when connected to a MiniTT1 or FlexTT5, manual power levels are transmitted to remote flashes when the TEST button is pressed even when the transmitter is off the camera. This affects both the radars connected to the FlexTT5 receivers and larger flashes like AlienBees and Elinchrom RX units with ControlTL receivers.

Camera/flash ports
The FlexTT5 transceiver has two plug-in ports for use with remote CLS/i-TTL cameras and other flash units, including studio strobes. With its automatic relay function, the FlexTT5 can trigger a remote camera and transmit to a remote strobe.

Continuous fast FPS
Never before have I been able to shoot cls / i-TTL remotely non-stop in high-speed continuous mode. Fill the buffer! Nothing else comes close.

Low-profile design
The FlexTT5 lies flat, stays out of the way, and features a foldable antenna for additional range when needed.

Automatic trigger selection for ControlTL
The shoe on both the MiniTT1 and the Flex TT5 will activate almost any hot shoe flash placed on it, in addition to the Nikon Speedlight for which it is designed. Hot Foot Incorporated
Block the Canon flash on the dedicated shoe of the FlexTT5 and combine the remote flash with the camera flash, or use the camera flash alone for additional CLS/i-TTL or manual power control. The reinforced resin and metal hot shoe set with glass is a superstructure on itself and incredibly durable. The best part; no more cords.

Continuous shooting with a remote camera
This allows for the activation of a continuous motor drive burst for a camera connected to the P1 port on a remote FlexTT5.

Transmission-only mode
This prevents an incoming trigger signal from firing your FlexTT5 and on-camera flash in situations where multiple photographers are using the same set of remote PocketWizard radios.
