Located to the left of the viewfinder, the dial features six of the camera's preset film simulation modes. FUJIFILM and three user-assignable modes that allow creators to customize and save their own recipes for quick retrieval in the field. The recipes can be created in the Film Simulation Dial section of the image quality settings menu, allowing adjustments in Grain Effect, Color Tone, Highlights, and more.

The X-T30 III includes 20 unique film simulation presets, which include PROVIA/Standard, Velvia/Vivid, ASTIA/Soft, Classic Chrome, REALA ACE, PRO Neg. Hi, PRO Neg.
