Optimal performance

The improved Godox AD200Pro II TTL pocket flash is a versatile 200W flash with convenient and optimized features. The AD200Pro II offers the same flexibility as its predecessor and was developed with advanced capabilities to help you create a versatile and effective lighting setup. Like its previous version, the Pro II includes a standard flash head and a bare bulb head to provide you with the option of two distinctly different light qualities.

Both flash heads are now in their latest improved versions: H200 II and H200J II. The power ranges from 1/512 to maximum power, while each flash head has a bi-color LED modeling light. Some other relevant improvements of the AD200Pro II include simple wireless synchronization with an optional X3 trigger and a group color indicator for easy identification.

Your lighting partner

The AD200Pro II offers full compatibility with various TTL systems, including Canon, Nikon, Sony., FUJIFILM, Olympus and Panasonic. All its functions can not only be performed manually on the unit but also wirelessly thanks to Godox's X wireless system. Remote operation requires the separate purchase of a Godox trigger, such as the recommended X3, and the flash is also compatible with the X2, XPro, and XPro II models. The body of the AD200Pro II is compact and light enough to become your ideal lighting companion in the studio or outdoors.

AD200Pro II updates

Maintaining some features from its previous version, such as 200 Ws and a recycling time of 0.01-0.8 s for quick and reliable use, the AD200Pro II offers flash durations from 1/272 to 1/23,500 s with its Speedlite flash head, from 1/252 to 1/16,200 s with its bare bulb flash head, and a wider output range from 1/1 to 1/512. Settings can be accessed via local buttons and are displayed on the improved, easy-to-read color TFT (thin-film transistor) screen for intuitive integrated control.

One-touch synchronization capability

Godox has considered all aspects to simplify the use of the AD200Pro II when combined with the X3 trigger, available separately. Designed for instant synchronization with the X3, the AD200Pro II allows you to focus on your visual creation. This wireless synchronization feature will optimize your photographic workflow, reducing the time you usually spend managing complicated channels and ID settings. Simply press the wireless synchronization option on both your X3 and the AD200Pro II for quick synchronization.

Smooth workflow with group color identification

The AD200Pro II is part of Godox's 2.4 GHz wireless X system with a range of 328', featuring 16 groups and 32 channels that make it easy to use multiple lights. Use the optional X3 trigger or the X2, XPro, and XPro II triggers to wirelessly control the flash head. The brand introduces what they call a "Group Color Indicator," meaning each of the 16 groups will display a different color locally on the flash head for easy group identification even from a distance.

Versatility

The included flash heads can be easily changed for different situations. The Speedlite head emits the standard look of a camera's built-in flash, while the bulb head produces a softer light. Users can also take advantage of Godox's R200 and H200R ring flash heads, available separately, to vary the light quality of the AD200Pro II according to the environment. The possibilities don't end here, as the AD200Pro II is also compatible with an optional ADS200 bar flash head that allows for a wide 360° beam distribution.

Godox X wireless system

The integrated 2.4 GHz X wireless system, with the help of division into 16 groups (0-9, A-F) and 32 channels, facilitates the creative use of multiple light sources. 99 wireless ID settings (01-99) limit interference from other nearby systems. Additionally, the AD200Pro II has a 3.5 mm sync port to establish a wired connection.

500 flashes of maximum power

The AD200Pro II maintains a stable output, providing 10 steps of extended output power with adjustable capability from 1/512 to maximum power 1/1 in 0.1 step increments. It operates with a removable and rechargeable 14.4 V/2900 mAh lithium battery that will provide up to 500 flashes at maximum power and thousands of flashes at lower power. Godox conveniently includes the charger in the box. In addition to that, the AD200Pro II can operate with an optional PB960 power pack.

Stable color temperature mode

A dedicated stable color temperature mode enhances color consistency within +/- 100K across the entire power range.

Adjustable bicolor LED modeling light

With 5800K, the AD200Pro II is ideal for portraits, weddings, and other types of photography. Both included flash heads come with an adjustable bicolor LED modeling lamp ranging from 2800 to 6000K. These LED modeling lights emit 1400 lux at 1m and can be set to proportional to mimic the effects of the flash power settings to preview the final shot, or they can be adjusted from 10 to 100%. The H200J II provides up to 5.5 hours of continuous modeling light, while the H200 II offers up to 6 hours.

Easy assembly

The AD200Pro II comes with a stand that has a 5/8" receiver for mounting separately available supports. The unit features 1/4"-20 threads conveniently located in different parts of its body.
