DJI OSMO MOBILE 8

Track subjects accurately and achieve stable recordings with your smartphone thanks to the DJI Osmo Mobile 8 smartphone stabilizer.

This updated stabilizer features a multifunctional module and ActiveTrack 7.0 technology. It includes a magnetic clamp for phones up to 8.4 cm wide with a quick-mount interface, an integrated extendable arm and tripod, as well as the OM multifunctional module for enhanced tracking of people and pets, gesture control, and fill light.

Other improvements include direct connection with Apple DockKit compatible smartphones, a USB-C output for charging the camera, and a hole for adding a counterweight (optional).

Quick Launch Device

The Osmo Mobile 8 sets up quickly by unfolding it and attaching your smartphone using the magnetic clamp to start recording. An integrated smart sensor and auto-alignment detect your phone and adjust the stabilizer for optimal balance.

There's no need to remove the phone case, as the improved clamp supports phones up to 3.3" wide and weighing up to 10.6 oz.

iPhone users can also use the DJI OM quick-release magnetic mount, available separately, to dispense with the phone clamp and simplify their setup process.

Multifunctional Module

The multifunctional module adds tracking to your smartphone's native camera app or third-party camera apps without needing the Mimo app. Connecting the module also activates gesture control.

The integrated fill light in the module improves low-light recordings, with eight levels of brightness and adjustable color temperature. Integrated Bluetooth allows connecting up to two DJI Mic 3, Mic 2, or Mini transmitters to the gimbal without a receiver.

Gesture Control

• - Bring your palm close to the multifunctional module sensor and intelligent tracking will start/stop instantly.

• - Make a "V" sign with your fingers to take a photo or start/stop recording.

• - A double "L" gesture adjusts the framing, regardless of where you move within it.

3-Axis Stabilization and ActiveTrack 7.0

The Osmo Mobile 8 offers enhanced stability over long distances thanks to the ActiveTrack 7.0 update, allowing automatic body shape tracking to record people or pets without manual selection. It follows subjects even after they leave the frame through automatic zoom and gimbal movements for continuous recording.

The Smart Capture feature detects multiple subjects and allows you to easily switch between them by simply tapping your phone's screen. Precise tracking locates your preferred subject, whether it's a person or your pet, and keeps it fixed regardless of movement or obstacles. The integrated stabilization technology creates shots without vibrations or distortions caused by terrain.

Dual Lens Enhancer

The dual lens enhancement feature leverages the smartphone's wide-angle and telephoto lenses to track fast-moving subjects over a larger area. Even if the subject leaves the frame, the Mimo app automatically reframes it.

Battery Life and Phone Charging

The integrated rechargeable battery of the Mobile 8 allows for continuous operation of up to 10 hours. Once depleted, it can be recharged in 2.5 hours using the included power cable and USB-C port. When activating the intelligent tracking of the Multifunctional Module, the stabilizer's autonomy is reduced to five hours.

With the fill light at maximum brightness, the autonomy is reduced to four hours. The stabilizer's USB-C port can also be used as a power output to charge the smartphone when the stabilizer is off.

Fill Light
