Helping to balance exposure when working in high-contrast situations, the 150 x 170 mm Very Hard Grave Neutral Density Filter LEE filters are specifically designed to selectively control brightness in difficult lighting conditions. The filter design places the density of 0.9, 3 stops at the top of the filter and then transitions to clear through the center of the filter for a gradual and natural appearance. The very hard transition between the light and density areas is ideal for photographing scenes with a straight and even skyline, like a landscape, as a landscape.
