Shogun is an advancement in cinematographic technology that captures your vision in ProRes RAW up to 6K 30P with complete codec flexibility: you can choose between ProRes RAW, ProRes, DNxHD, and H.265 (HEVC). Shogun has two sides: local and in the cloud. Use it conventionally and enjoy an incredible HDR screen, new monitoring tools, and 12G HDMI and SDI connections.

Activate its wireless and network functions and enjoy high-performance Wi-Fi 6, Ethernet, and AirGlu wireless synchronization technology, as well as access to new and productive cloud workflows, such as "camera to cloud" and Atomos Edit. You can even edit your project in the cloud and publish it directly on social media a few minutes after recording.

Shogun has been developed with the new AtomOS 11 operating system, which hosts new and exclusive monitoring and recording features that bring creativity to life in every project, from cinematographic to social media. RecordAssist and PlayBackAssist cover preset or remote shots, while the enhanced false color tools, like Arri False Color or the EL Zone system, cater to the needs of today's creators.

Open ultra-efficient cloud workflows, including dual ProRes/H.265 recording for camera to cloud and 4K H.265 for instant publication from the cloud. Share what's on your Atomos screen with other Atomos OS11 users, iPads, Macs, and Apple TVs wirelessly on the same premises or anywhere in the world with full audio communication between devices in the included Atomos RemoteView* feature.

These new features bring even more versatility to the Shogun, offering professional I/O options for a wide range of cameras: 12G-SDI, AirGlu wireless control and timecode, and up to 4K NDI, from entry-level mirrorless cameras to the latest compact cinema cameras and high-end professional cameras. The Shogun is compatible with WiFi 6, optimizing cloud video workflows and offering a more stable connection.
