Quality optics
The microscope is specially designed for children, but in terms of optical performance this model is by no means inferior to many "adult" microscopes. The instrument is equipped with three objective lenses. To change the magnification, you do not need to pause the job; You can quickly change targets with the revolving nosepiece. The unique feature of this model is its two-position sliding eyepiece, which replaces two eyepieces at 10 and 16 times magnification, and is really easy to use. Your child will not need to change the eyepieces; therefore, they will not be lost. Three objectives and this eyepiece allow you to obtain the following magnification levels: 40x, 64x, 100x, 160x, 400x and 640x.
Microscope sample study
To observe a fly's wing or onion cells, a thin transparent specimen should be placed on the round stage. The practical clips will keep it securely in place; You won't lose sight of it after careless movement. The light emitted by the LEDs (located under the stage) passes through the sample, creating the enlarged image. Adjustable brightness is a very convenient feature: you can make the lighting more intense for thick, less transparent samples, and do the opposite when you are looking at very thin and very transparent sections.
