The Discovery Artisan 128 digital microscope features a built-in 3.5-inch LCD screen that displays the image captured by the lens. The image can also be shown on an external screen, not only on a PC but also on a TV. The microscope is compatible with Windows and Mac OS devices and can be connected to them via a USB cable. To connect the device to a TV, an audio/video cable is used. The microscope also allows you to take photos, record videos, and perform measurements (linear, angular, radii, diameters, etc.).

The Discovery Artisan 128 microscope's 5 Mpx digital camera with interpolation to 12 Mpx forms the image. The magnification range is from 20x to 500x, and the manual focus range is from 0 to 150 mm. The microscope is suitable for working with metals, numismatics, restoration, jewelry, and repair work. It can be used to detect defects in manufactured products, digitize museum pieces (leaves, minerals, etc.), for soldering work, and working with drawings. This model is also suitable as a scientific hobby.

The stage is equipped with two clips and measurement scales. The microscope features built-in lighting, including 8 LED lamps arranged around the camera lens. Their brightness can be adjusted. Both the lighting and the microscope are powered by a lithium-ion battery or AC power source (an AC adapter is included).

Note: A memory card is used to record photos and videos (not included). The recorded data can be transferred to a computer via a USB cable.

For the software application to function correctly, launch the installed application only when the microscope is connected to a PC and ready to make observations.
