Camera system

The Mini 5 Pro incorporates a 1-inch CMOS sensor and a new image processing platform, offering up to 14 stops of dynamic range in HDR video. It introduces a 48mm Med-Tele mode (2x zoom) and uses portrait optimization technology. DJI to achieve exceptional portrait photographs.

Flexible gimbal rotation

The gimbal allows a 225° rotation on the roll axis, which can be controlled manually or through intelligent modes such as QuickShot Rotate, Timelapse, Spotlight, and Waypoint Flight, making it easier to create dynamic videos with rotation.

Detection system

The Mini 5 Pro features forward-facing LiDAR, compatible with omnidirectional obstacle detection in nighttime landscapes with as little as 1 lux of illumination and the new Smart RTH. It can actively detect and avoid obstacles like buildings during flight and return, enhancing safety in nighttime urban photography. It can also memorize flight routes in well-lit conditions, allowing for quick takeoffs and safe returns even without a satellite signal.

ActiveTrack:

The Mini 5 Pro intelligently detects different sports scenarios and automatically selects either Cycling or Standard mode to ensure optimal framing and tracking. The tracking performance has been improved to balance speed, agility, and safety.

Flight performance:

The intelligent flight battery offers up to 36 minutes of flight time, a maximum takeoff altitude of 6000 meters, and a maximum forward flight speed of 18 m/s.

Video streaming:

DJI O4+ allows 10-bit HDR video transmission up to 20 km, with greater signal stability, better resistance to interference, and superior image quality.

Quick transfer in off state:

The Mini 5 Pro has 42 GB of internal storage. It is compatible with remote activation through the app. DJI Fly within Bluetooth range, allowing high-speed file transfers of up to 100 MB/s.

Battery charging efficiency:

Using the portable charger DJI With 65W and the bidirectional charging hub, it takes approximately 46 minutes to fully charge an intelligent flight battery. Charging three batteries fully takes about 115 minutes in total.

The DJI Mini 5 Pro is certified with the C0 classification granted by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). To request a change to the EU C1 classification, contact support at DJI through the application DJI Fly. The DJI Mini 5 Pro can only be used with the app. DJI Fly. Dirt and debris can cause false obstacle detections. Keep the forward-facing LiDAR clean to ensure accurate detection. The LiDAR operates automatically in environments with moderate lighting but does not function correctly in conditions of intense light. Pay attention to ambient light to maintain a safe flight.

Enhanced obstacle detection in nighttime conditions: Even in extremely dark environments, with less than 1 lux of ambient light, and when the visual detection system is not functioning, the forward-facing LiDAR can still detect frontal obstacles, allowing the drone to stop in time during the night. Safer return home at night: During the nighttime return to the point of origin, if the visual detection system is not functioning, the drone can use the front LiDAR to detect obstacles and ascend to avoid them*, making the return flight safer. If the drone reaches the altitude limit while ascending to avoid obstacles, it will hover at that height.

When recording video at 60 fps or less, the DJI The Mini 5 Pro activates HDR mode by default. The USB-C port supports power input of up to 9V/3A.

Avoid contact with water during use, as it could damage the device.

If it starts raining during the flight, return and land as soon as possible, and wait for the drone to be completely dry inside and out before using it again.

Interference distance

In different environments, the level of wireless interference varies, and the maximum transmission distance will also differ.

Without obstacles:

• Strong interference: Urban environment, approximately 1.5–4 km
• Medium interference: Suburban environment, approximately 4–10 km
• Low interference: Suburban or coastal areas, approximately 10–20 km

With obstacles:

• Low interference and obstruction by buildings: approximately 0–0.7 km
• Low interference and obstruction by trees: approximately 0.7–4.5 km

Data tested under the FCC standard in environments with and without obstacles, with typical interference. They are provided for reference only and do not guarantee the actual transmission distance.
