Capture stunning 4K UHD and superior quality Full HD images thanks to the 1/2.3" type 4K CMOS sensor and the DIGIC DV6 image processor. HD oversampling processing provides Full HD images from the 4K sensor.

4K lens with 20x optical zoom
The Canon lens covers a wide angle of 29.3 mm (35 mm equivalent) and a powerful reach of 612 mm with dynamic image stabilizer (dynamic IS). The digital zoom increases up to 800x with 5-axis image stabilization.

Fast and precise focusing with face detection
Adjustable focus speeds and the advanced hybrid AF system provide fast and precise focusing. Use the 3.5-inch LCD screen to focus by touching the necessary AF point. Face detection and tracking autofocus is available while adjusting manual focus with the focus/zoom ring.

XF-AVC and MP4 for flexible recording
You can choose between XF-AVC or MP4 recording formats. Record in XF-AVC 4K UHD at 160 Mbps at 25p and Full HD at 45 Mbps at 50p/50i/25p. For smaller files, record in MP4 4K at 150 Mbps at 25P and in Full HD at 35 Mbps/17 Mbps at 50P/25P.

Professional outputs and inputs
Output options include backup and simultaneous uninterrupted recording via dual SD card slot and infrared mode. For specialized capture, record slow motion in Full HD 0.5x or fast motion in 4K/Full HD up to 1200x. Adjust color with other Canon cameras via the custom image menu.

Live streaming and more
Stream HD footage via UVC1 and a computer, or add a date and time stamp with OSD recording. Two XLR terminals on a detachable handle and 4-channel linear PCM offer professional audio options.
