Audio features include high-quality 48 kHz / 24-bit LPCM format, a built-in stereo microphone, 3.5mm mic / line level input, and 3.5mm headphone output. The optional DMW-XLR1 XLR adapter can be used, using the camera's built-in hot shoe, allowing you to record with professional microphones.
