Bluetooth capability

Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR for short-range wireless connection to headphones and speakers. You can use an Android phone running the Olympus Audio Controller BT application to remotely control the recorder as well.

Recording Capabilities

The LS-P2 features a three-microphone system for capturing depth, fullness, and stereo field. Two microphones are arranged at a 90° angle, with a center microphone added to capture lower bass frequencies. This Tresmic combination provides a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz when the center microphone is on and 60 Hz to 20 kHz when the center microphone is off.

96 kHz / 24 bit capacity

The LS-P2 supports up to 24-bit linear PCM recording and sample rates up to 96 kHz.

Manual level and limiter configuration

You can adjust the microphone sensitivity to match the sound source, maximizing the dynamic range. This is a particularly important function when recording music. The limiter function is effective in keeping the volume below a specific point, thus preventing unwanted distortion.

Intelligent auto mode

This mode automatically adjusts the microphone sensitivity according to the real-time input level.

Playback Normalization

The normalization function of the LS-P2 raises the volume of recordings to their highest limit without causing distortion during playback.

Equalizer on board

"Rock", "Pop", "Jazz" or custom "User" settings are possible in the LS-P2.

Voice playback function

This feature allows you to omit non-voice parts during playback and only play the parts of the file where there is voice content, thus saving time during business-oriented listening sessions or transcription.

Automatic voice balancer

Balances all voices recorded in playback to facilitate dialogue dialogue.

Noise Cancellation

Powerfully reduce unwanted environment during playback.

Direct connection to PC

The built-in USB connector can be implemented and stored using the slide lever. With this feature, you can connect directly to a computer without using an external cable or software.

Editing Files

Split files, trim files, or remove unwanted space between audible material.

Tripod adapter

The LS-P2 comes with a small diameter tripod socket for mounting on tripods.
