Tamron Console TAP-in Nikon

The Tamron Console TAP-in is a lens accessory that allows you to perform firmware updates and custom settings for the selected Tamron lenses. To do this, simply connect the Tamron TAP-in console and use the free Tamron Tap-in Utility software for PC or Mac. Previous firmware updates could only be made through Camtech, the Tamron Customer Service Center, but now You can do them yourself.

* It will require a first firmware update with the most recent version through the TAP-in Console platform in order to access all the functions of the TAP-in Console for this purpose.

SP 45mm F / 1.8 Di VC USD (Model F013): Released in September 2015 for Nikon and Canon. The presentation of the Sony compatible model will be released later.
It will require prior firmware update by the Tamron SAT to enable compatibility with the TAP-in Console platform.

SP 35mm F / 1.8 Di VC USD (Model F012): Released in September 2015 for Nikon and Canon. The presentation of the Sony compatible model will be released later.
* It will require previous firmware update by the Tamron SAT to enable compatibility with the TAP-in Console platform.

Regarding the firmware update service for SP35mm F / 1.8 (Model F012) and SP45mm F / 1.8 (Model F013) lenses
The SAT will be able to update the firmware soon. Additional information will be made available through Tamron's website and that of official distributors or SAT services arranged with the launch.
