The 7" Shogun Ultra Recorder, the latest in the ATOMOS line of onboard camera video monitor-recorders, provides integrated network connectivity to your mirrorless, DSLR, and cinema-style capture, enabling fast and productive workflows. Efficient cloud-based workflow options include dual ProRes RAW/H.265 recording for Camera to Cloud, automatic file name matching with popular cinema-style cameras, and 4K H.265 capture for instant publishing from the cloud. Partnerships with leading camera manufacturers ensure that the Shogun Ultra works seamlessly with an ever-growing range of cameras.

AtomOS 11
The 7" Shogun Ultra features the new AtomOS 11 operating system with exposure-referenced EL Zone colored images, ARRI false color, and new scheduled recording and playback tools.
A higher number of standard codecs include Apple ProRes Raw up to 8K, DNxHD, and H.265.

Full Connectivity

NDI TX Option

• Utilize the optional NDI streaming feature to send high-quality video over ordinary networks (including Wi-Fi and mobile) using remarkably low bandwidth requirements.

• NDI is increasingly used in live production, and now your Shogun can be part of an NDI environment.

• The NDI TX option turns your Shogun into an NDI source, visible to all other authorized devices on the network.

Ultra-bright Display

• The large, super-bright 7" display of the Shogun Ultra can be viewed in almost any light: indoors, outdoors, or anywhere you need instant, visible critical feedback on your images.

• The brightness of 2000 cd/m² makes the Shogun Ultra ideal for checking your HDR images while on set.

• Play back your recently captured photos on the same pristine screen for review or even upload them to the cloud.

Durable Construction

• The durable housing of the Shogun Ultra is suitable for use in all environments.

• Use the built-in tally light to quickly see the recording status.

• Robust Wi-Fi and AirGlu RF antennas ensure stable transmission.

• Power the Shogun Ultra using the L-series battery plate on the back of each monitor or the optional DC power input.

• Mount this monitor-recorder using the 3/8"-16 threads on the top and bottom, or use the included 1/4"-20 adapter.

• The Shogun Ultra has a built-in slot for the included Master Caddy III, a slot for SD cards supporting cards up to 4 TB, and compatibility with CFast II cards using an SSDmini adapter to record as long as your media allows.

• The USB-C port can be used to add options and for future AtomOS updates.
