Das Gitzo GK2542-82QD Kit Mountaineer Series 2 ist ein Kit bestehend aus einem Mountaineer GT2542 Stativ aus Kohlefaser und einem GH3382QD Center Rod End. Das Gitzo GT2542 Series 2 Carbon Fiber Stativ ist eine leichte, 4-teilige, zuverlässige Halterung für eine DSLR mit Objektiven von 200mm bis 300mm.

Dieses professionelle Stativ verfügt über eXact Carbonschläuche mit längeren und stärkeren Beindurchmessern, mit einem Oberdurchmesser von 29,0 mm und Unterschenkeln aus Kohlefaser, die es stärker machen als andere Stative in seinen Segmenten, die Mittelsäule des Stativs lässt sich leicht abnehmen und in einen Bodenständer verwandeln, der dem Fotografen eine möglichst breite Perspektive ermöglicht, sowie über einen umkehrbaren Säulenmechanismus.

Das Vierpunktbein des Gitzo GT2542 ist mit Ultra Twist G-lock Locks gesichert, mit einem integrierten "O"-Ring, der Schmutz und Staub aus dem Mechanismus fernhält, und der Oberseite des Stativs, die kürzlich für zusätzliche Stabilität entwickelt wurde.

Der abnehmbare Fuß ermöglicht die Anpassung des Stativs an jede Art von Untergrund, eine Vielzahl von Köpfen und anderem Zubehör kann durch die 1/4" und 3/8" Anschlüsse an der Oberseite einfach montiert werden.
