Eine maximale Blende von f/2.8 ist im Low-Light-Schießen wirksam und sorgt für eine flache Tiefenschärfe. Mit einer extra geringen Dispersion, asphherischen Linsenelementen und asphärischen Hybriden werden chromatische Abweichungen minimiert und das Ergebnis sind knackige und präzise Farbbilder. Die WBU-Linsenbeschichtung erleichtert die Lichtübertragung und reduziert den Phantomeffekt und die Reflexe. Der minimale Fokusabstand für dieses Objektiv beträgt 11 ".
