Der 2x-Telekonverter TC-2001 von Sigma ist für Nikon F-Mount-Objektive in der Global Vision-Reihe optimiert und bietet eine 2-fache Brennweitenerhöhung für ausgewählte Global Vision-Objektive. Dieses Modell bietet eine vollständige Kommunikation zwischen dem Objektiv und der Kamera und ermöglicht den Autofokus mit bis zu 1: 8. Der Telekonverter verfügt außerdem über zwei spezielle Elemente mit geringer Dispersion, um das Auftreten von chromatischen Aberrationen zu reduzieren und die Qualität aufrechtzuerhalten. Zum Schutz ist der TC-2001 staub- und spritzwassergeschützt. Im angehängten Zustand führt die 2x-Konvertierung zu einem leichten Verlust von ungefähr zwei Stopps. Eine weiche Tragetasche mit Reißverschluss schützt den Telekonverter bei Nichtgebrauch.
