Der 2-Wege-Fluidkopf von Gitzo wurde entwickelt, um Vogelbeobachtern und Benutzern von kompakten und mittelgroßen Spektiven sowie Naturfotografen und Videofilmern, die hochwertige CSC- oder DSLR-Kameras mit mittleren Teleobjektiven verwenden, höchste Leistung zu bieten.
Die Vogelbeobachtung erfordert eine spezielle Unterstützungsausrüstung, aber fast alle von Vogelbeobachtern verwendeten Köpfe sind für Video- oder Fotozwecke bestimmt, die normalerweise größer, schwerer und komplizierter sind als nötig. Dieser Kopf wurde entwickelt, um Vogelbeobachter und Naturfotografen, die mit mittleren Teleobjektiven fotografieren, voll und ganz zu befriedigen, da beide ähnliche Bedürfnisse haben.

Es hat ein leichtes und robustes Magnesiumgehäuse mit einem Gewicht von weniger als 0,6 kg und kann eine maximale Belastung von bis zu 4 kg tragen.
