Nimmt einen DMW-BLF19 Akkupack auf und funktioniert zusätzlich zu dem in der Kamera befindlichen Akku.
Die Akkulaufzeit wurde auf ca. 780 Bilder mit dem Monitor und 750 Bilder mit dem Sucher verbessert und im stromsparenden LVF-Modus auf 1500 Bilder weiter erhöht.
Die Bedientasten beinhalten einen Ein-/Ausschalter, Auslöser, Joystick, AF/AE-Sperrtaste, Weißabgleichstaste, ISO-Empfindlichkeitstaste, Belichtungskorrekturtaste, Frontscheibe und Rückscheibe.
