Dieser LE1 Filter SW150 Mark II Objektivadapter ermöglicht den Anschluss eines separat erhältlichen SW150 Mark II Filterhalters an ein Sigma 20 mm 1: 1,4 DG HSM Art Objektiv, das dann die Verwendung von 150 mm breiten Filtern und ermöglicht 2 mm dick ohne Kugeln.
Dieser Objektivadapter besteht aus drei Komponenten: einem Frontring, einem Kompressionsring und einem Sicherungsring. Die Platzierung des Objektivadapters auf dem Objektiv wird einfach erreicht, indem der vordere Ring über die eingebaute Gegenlichtblende geschoben wird, wobei die integrierten Ansätze des vorderen Rings vom Objektivkörper entfernt sind. Der Kompressionsring kann über die Rückseite des Objektivs gleiten, bis er auf den vorderen Ring trifft. Schließlich gleitet der Sicherungsring auch über die Rückseite des Objektivs, bis er in den vorderen Ring eingeschraubt werden kann. Danach kann eine SW150 Mark II-Halterung von der Vorderseite des Objektivs zur Verwendung auf den Adapter aufgesetzt werden.
