Il versatile zoom 5x copre l'equivalente di 24-120 mm in formato full frame, mentre il diaframma veloce scopre maggiori possibilità di ripresa. L'impressionante sistema di riduzione delle vibrazioni di Nikon mantiene le immagini nitide. Un diaframma elettromagnetico assicura esposizioni precise a velocità di registrazione elevate.
Ampia gamma focale di 16-80 mm (equivalente a un obiettivo in formato FX: 24-120 mm) e un diaframma veloce massimo di f/2,8-4. La gamma di zoom dal grandangolo al teleobiettivo copre facilmente la maggior parte delle situazioni di ripresa: dai paesaggi panoramici ai ritratti intimi.
Compatto e leggero: eccellente obiettivo da viaggio a tutto tondo. Il corpo macchina pesa solo 480 g, ha dimensioni compatte e offre una bilancia perfetta nel corpo macchina.
Diaframma veloce: consente di ottenere piacevoli sfondi sfuocati, scatti nitidi in condizioni di scarsa illuminazione e di separare il soggetto dallo sfondo in modo particolare. Raggiunge un'apertura del diaframma di f/2,8 con una lunghezza focale di 16 mm (equivalente a un obiettivo in formato FX: 24 mm) e da f/4 a 80 mm (equivalente a un obiettivo in formato FX: 120 mm).
Riduzione delle vibrazioni (VR): riduce al minimo gli effetti delle vibrazioni della fotocamera, consentendo di scattare con tempi di posa fino a quattro passi più lenti. Il funzionamento della VR è silenzioso, anche durante le riprese
- Costruzione ottica avanzata: quattro elementi in vetro ED e tre lenti asferiche assicurano immagini nitide e luminose.
Rivestimento nanocristallo: riduce i fantasmi e i riflessi per fornire una maggiore nitidezza dell'immagine, anche in situazioni di retroilluminazione.
