An update of a precious zoom, the Canon EF-mount atx-i 11-16mm f / 2.8 CF from Tokina is a versatile ultra wide angle zoom very suitable for landscapes, architecture and interior photography. Characterized by its bright constant maximum aperture f / 2.8, it offers a constant brightness throughout the zoom range and benefits from working in available lighting conditions. The optical design incorporates a series of aspherical and low dispersion elements that suppress a variety of aberrations to improve sharpness and clarity. The individual elements are also coated with multiple layers to resist flashes and phantom images for greater contrast and color accuracy when working in bright or backlit light conditions. Complementing the optics, this lens features a one-touch focus clutch mechanism to quickly switch between AF and MF settings, and an internal focus design is used for responsive focus performance.
This ultra-wide lens designed for Canon cameras with EF mount APS-C format, this lens provides an equivalent focal length range of 17.6-25.6 mm.
The constant bright maximum aperture f / 2.8 provides constant brightness throughout the zoom range and offers improved control over depth of field.
