High Transparency Film

This filter employs a newly developed Kenko high transparency film that allows more visible light to pass through the filter while maintaining the same amount of polarized light.

UV Absorption

The crystal of the Clear PRO filter also has UV absorption properties, combining the functions of an ultraviolet filter and a polarizer with the same filter.

Superior Color and SweetVision

CPL filters remove unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water, glass etc. They make the colours more saturated and the image sharper, with better contrast. It is often used to increase contrast and saturation in blue skies and white clouds. Kenko's CPL Filter does not affect the colour balance of the shot.

Clear CPL PRO + UV absorption

Kenko's Pro Clear Circular Polarizer Filter transmits up to 25% more light through the polarizing film, giving the photographer about 1/3 diaphragm more light than a standard circular polarizer. This new polarization film is also used in the latest high definition LCD televisions.
