Main characteristics:

  1. Between manual power brands and wireless zoom control supported by Canon HSS, Fujifilm, Nikon, Olympus, Panasonic and Pentax flashes;
  2. Two modes of high-speed cross-mark synchronization:
    1. Normal HSS supports shutter speeds up to 1 / 8000s;
    2. Being able to synchronize increases the contribution of inflammation higher than the speed of synchronization X of the camera;
  3. Several masters support up to 20 photographers who shoot the same set of flashes at their own power settings;
  4. HF aid light assists focus on light environment;
  5. Flash profile customization allows you to ensure an accurate power output;
  6. Work seamlessly with the RF60 series to support HSS and be able to synchronize;
  7. Other useful features inherit from V6 including:
    1. Low load
    2. Full load
    3. TTL pass through
    4. Group Sequence
    5. obturator Sports
    6. remote trigger
    7. Relay Mode
    8. Delay mode

Notes on compatibility:

  • Cactus V6 II is not compatible with V6 cactus in the current firmware. after upgrading to a new firmware (pending version) in the V6, V6 II will be backward compatible within the camera's X synchronization speed;
  • Cactus V6 (RX) does not support normal HSS when activated by V6 II;
  • Cactus V6 (RX) supports being able to synchronize by updating new firmware (standby version) when triggered by V6 II;
  • Cactus RF60 (RX) supports normal HSS and be able to synchronize by updating new firmware (version 200 and following) when triggered by the V6 II;
  • Cactus V6 II does not work with any other flash trigger model including Cactus V4, V2 or V2;
  • Cactus V6 II does not transmit TTL information wirelessly;
  • Cactus V6 II is not compatible with flashes or strobe lights with reverse polarity connectors;
  • Cactus V6 II is compatible with virtually all cameras that come with (1) an ISO standard shoe, or (2) a female synchronization port connection;
  • Cactus V6 II is compatible with wireless flash Transceiver V5 and laser trigger for basic LV5 flash activation and shutter release.
  • Camera(s) proves that it does not support high-speed synchronization modes in Cactus V6 II:- Fujifilm X-E2 (Updated: 18 July 2016)- Fujifilm X100T (Updated: 7 September 2016)- Fujifilm X-T2 (Updated: 9 September 2016)- Fujifilm X-T2 (Updated: 9 September 2016)- Cactus V6 II:- Fujifilm X-E2 (Updated: 18 July 2016)- Fujifilm X100T (Updated: 7 September 2016)- Fujifilm X-T2 (Updated: 9 September 2016)
  • Cactus V6 II is compatible with the Olympus O-MD E-M1. However, some copies of the E-M1 come with a thicker spring plate than usual hot metal shoe that has to be removed when working with the V6 II. Check out how to remove the spring plate in this thread from the discussion forum (Update: August 5, 2016)
  • Cactus V6 II is compatible with the Panasonic Lumix DMC-GX8. However, due to special synchronization requirements the camera is only compatible with HSS up to 1 / 4.000s. (Update: September 1, 2016)

1With the exception of the system Pentax flashes due to special time requirements so it must be paired with a Pentax camera in order to support HSS.

2 Sync power may require the user to adjust the sync time in order to eliminate any banding problems (black line through image).

3 AF Assist works when the camera sends a corresponding signal.

4 For auto-detection camera system, medium pressure on the camera trigger while turning on the V6 II to TX mode.
