The FLEX ZOOM LOCK mechanism allows you to lock the zoom in any position to avoid unwanted zoom extensions during use. Also included is a conventional zoom lock switch, which locks the zoom in place at the 150mm position to prevent zoom extension during transport.

A sealed, moisture-resistant construction benefits the use of this lens in inclement conditions, and a fluorine coating has also been applied to the front lens element to protect against dust, dirt and stains.

The durable metal barrel uses a curved and ergonomic shape for easy handling, and both the zoom and focus rings are textured for better grip.

A removable rotating tripod necklace has a foot compatible with the Ark type and benefits from working with the lens on top of a tripod or monopod.
