Encompassing a useful wide-to-medium telephoto range, the Sonyes E 18-135 mm f / 3.5-5.6 OSS a versatile zoom of 27-202.5 mm equivalent to E-mount mirrored cameras in APS-C format. Complementing the range of focal lengths is an Optical SteadyShot image stabilization system, which minimizes the appearance of camera movement for sharper manual shooting. It also helps produce sharper images is a linear autofocus engine, which offers quick focus performance for sharper manual shooting. Versatile zoom designed for APS-C format E-mount mirrorless cameras, this 18-135 mm lens provides an equivalent focal length range of 27-202.5 mm.

Two extra low dispersion elements help reduce color margin and chromatic aberrations to produce greater color clarity and accuracy.

An aspherical element helps control distortion and reduce spherical aberrations for sharper sharpness and more accurate representation.

SteadyShot optical image stabilization helps minimize the camera's motion appearance for sharper images when shooting portable devices with slower shutter speeds. This stabilization system can also be combined with camera sensor shift type image stabilization for more effective control of camera blur.

A linear autofocus motor provides fast and accurate autofocus performance and allows precise and silent focusing while shooting videos. In addition, a dedicated AF/MF switch allows quick switching between focusing methods.

Minimum focusing distance of 1.5' along with a maximum profit magnification of 0.29x working with close-up subjects.

The rounded seven-leaf diaphragm contributes to pleasant bokeh quality when selective focusing techniques are used.
